Earlier this week in my facebook inbox I had a question from one of my mates from the Entrepreneurship program at RMIT.
The subject line was, "I heard that you're the greatest netwoker in the world!"
He wanted some advice on how to score an interview with Bono on his upcoming tour of Australia in December.
My advice is outlined word-for-word here. Let me know what you would've advised him in the same situation.

Mate I would record a YouTube video that has the potential to go viral calling out Bono for a contribution of time to a worthy yet remarkable cause.
He is into philanthropic stuff ala Make Poverty History so maybe along those lines.
You need to find out who his promoter is here and network your way to them / call them directly with a referral from a mutual colleague.
Brainstorm and come up with a list of 20 different ways you could contact them / get their interest. Then once you've done that, come up with 20 new ideas and try all 40.
If you do that you'll be sure to meet / talk to a lot of interesting people and make a lot of contacts, maybe even meet the Big Man Bono himself!
