THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE OF WEALTH IS TO BLESS OTHERS.
I’ve heard in a youtube video that the host in the TV show asked the guests… what is the purpose of their success? And that remind me of the story of the Two seas in Palestine. Well let me share to you what it is all about.
There are two seas in Palestine. The Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea.
The Sea of Galilee, is a large lake with clean fresh potable water. People and fish swim in it, surrounded by trees and plants. Many people reside in that area because of the beauty and help that it has.
The other one is the Dead Sea. Everything about it is dead. It has no fish. No green fields and gardens along its banks. It has unpleasant smell. It really lives up to its name.
The interesting part is that, the same river flows into both of them.
The Jordan River flows into the top of the Sea of Galilee and out the bottom. The lake uses the water and then passes it on for others to use. The Jordan then flows into the Dead Sea and stays there. The Dead Sea keeps it only for itself.
So what’s the difference? The one receives and gives; the other receives and keeps.
This is God’s message for you: God gives seeds, not fruits. When God gives a fruit, He’s really giving the seeds within the fruit.
Some people receive blessings from God. yet, they keep it. Not interested in planting and growing the seeds.
The good thing is that some are are not just there to receive. But they are there to grow their blessing for others.
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9:11
The ultimate purpose of wealth is to bless others.
